Andorra is an interesting place, to say the least! It has the highest capital city in Europe (Andorra La Vella, at 3356 ft above sea level). It is the 16th smallest country in the world by size and is only 468km2 in area, meaning anywhere in the country is reachable within a 40 min drive. It's also the 11th smallest country in the world by population, which is around 80,000 people.  The local language is Catalan, it has no army and its government is dependent on both Spain & France - yet, it's not part of the EU or Schengen space but it is a member of the United Nations! Andorra is also one of the safest countries in the world with almost no crime at all, no poverty and little unemployment with a great quality of life.

Andorra boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year due to its location, in the Pyrenees mountains, between the South of France and the North of Spain. The local currency is the Euro and the country is famed for its low-cost tax, cigarettes and alcohol.  It is generally an unexpensive destination to visit. The ski resorts have over 320km of skiable slopes and hundreds more kms of epic mountains, off-piste and stunning landscapes. The temperatures vary wildly with -32 degrees recorded not long ago to +35 degrees, or more, often reached in summer.  A place that is ever changing and vastly varied for such a small country!

The culture in Andorra is very much shaped by Spanish and French lifestyles, food, drink and personalities. Generally, residents are very friendly, love the outdoors and to socialise. There is also a great expat community of English-speaking people who come here to register businesses and take advantage of the low tax or to live an easier, slower paced lifestyle and to enjoy the outdoors. There are lots of lovely seasonaires from all over the world, like Argentina, Chile, Brazil and the USA. Most people are very friendly so do take time to meet others and help us show how the D&B community can be amazingly lovely and not the stereotype that many musically uneducated people believe!!

Whether it's cheap shopping or tax free goods, epic skiing and snowboarding, enjoying peace in nature, sampling delicious food at great prices, being rootsy and simplistic, going all out in posh bars and clubs, making lifelong friends or just relaxing in spas, Andorra really does have something for everyone. We are so excited to meet you all, to show you why this is such a great destination and to experience great music together! This is a strictly limited capacity experience so once it's full its full. We hope to see you in March!
