WhaT (WAS) ON?
As well as beautiful mountains, great skiing and a quaint village to enjoy, there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained whilst in resort. Our ethos is based on intimate venues with a very limited capacity, a sense of togetherness, getting to know each other and being up close and personal with everyone who is a part of the experience!
Interstellar Audio Podcast
Hosted by two of our favourites support djs, Cellar and Twelve Step Audio, the Interstellar Audio Podcast is a D&B label curating the best soulful, deep & dark drum and bass. Their unique edition on the slopes features a backdrop of beautiful landscape and included exclusive interviews with Etherwood, Degs and our attendees. Check it out here! Keeno Album Preview
Keeno performed an incredible and unforgettable set for a tiny group of his fans to create footage for the video of his brand new EP in an unbelievable location!
The EP is called "courage" and the story behind the creation of the video depicted perfectly its title. This was surely one of the most special moments ever for many of those present.
The Great Excursion to Pal
We strapped on our boards and skiis and went for a "slide" together from Arinsal to the base station of Pal to sit in the sun in one of our favourite spots for crepes, beers and banter - the Creperie.
We spent an afternoon full of laughs and companionship between us all on the slopes and introduced the most beautiful resort of Andorra to everyone who came.
Mountain BBQ
We love a good BBQ and Andorra has some of the most stunning barbeque spots you'll ever come across! We kick-started the experience with one at our favourite spot and this was a great way to meet everyone and make new friends surrounded by incredible views, music and food. We had an open decks session for those who wanted to get involved - this was a memorable BBQ!
Apres Ski
We secured the best spot in town with stunning views for apres ski - Surf terrace! We had the pleasure of seeing Inja and Etherwood performing absolutely unforgettable sets up and close to a very small, exclusive crowd at the VIP terrace in a super cosy atmophere. The vibes were OFF THE ROOF and it felt like the whole village took off!! Check out Adrian Kay's (our personal sponsor for Surf Terrace) support set to Inja HERE!
On Monday, we started the evening on a high note at Factory with great music from Cellar, Riddle and Vint-1.
D&B Pub Quiz
After a hard day on the slopes, what better way to spend the evening than heading to El Cabin with your mates to play pub games with a DnB twist?! The winners of our DnB Pub Quiz were our youngest members, Young Guns! Other team entries included Scrambled Legz, Voodoo People, Black Slope Empire and Unamed. If that wasn't enough, we had great music and another open decks session!
Night Parties
Keeping the vibes going, we used some of the best local bars - Cisco's, Molis and El Cabin - for our night time knees up. We had the pleasure of seeing Keeno, Degs and our support Dj´s up and close in the unusual setting of very exclusive venues with a strictly limited capacity, great vibes and affordable prices. We partied the night away and the vibes were incredible!
Every single night was memorable and despite the small crowd involved, each set and each night were absolutely filled with energy!
The BIG finale!
We finished off the week with a BANG! Oh boy, and what a bang!... We started the afternoon at Polar Bar for a BBQ with incredible views on the slopes and open decks for the attendees!! Later that day, we had an exclusive social at the lovingly relaxing Princesa Park Spa, followed by dinner at El Cabin where we had a MASSIVE night of B2B2B2B2B with all our support DJ's! This was an EPIC grand finale!
Socialising
We love getting to know like minded people who love D&B, so we left some space in the schedule to ski, relax and socialise. We created a whatsapp group so people could arrange meet ups, let others know where they were and invite others to join. The most amazing thing about the experience was to get to know each and every one of those involved - punters, support artists and headliners - and in this way beautiful new friendships were made!
